1,237 ISC Graduates Celebrate Success, Ready to Build a Better Future for Timor-Leste
The 17th Graduation Ceremony of Institut Superior Cristal (ISC) Showcases Commitment to Producing Quality Graduates from the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences.
Dili, December 29, 2025 – An atmosphere of emotion and pride filled the Dili Convention Center (CCD) this morning during the 17th Graduation Ceremony of Institut Superior Cristal (ISC). A total of 1,237 students from the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Health Sciences officially received their academic degrees, including graduates from the Master's Program marking its sixth commencement.
This meaningful event was attended by officials, foundation leaders, the ISC rectorate, and the graduates' families, who shared the joy of their children's achievements.
Commitment to Quality and Community Service
In his address, H.E. Prof. Dr. Agostinho dos Santos Gonçalves, M.M., Executive President of Yayasan Cristal, expressed his highest appreciation to the parents for their trust. "We are committed to continuing to produce quality graduates who are ready to contribute to community development," he affirmed, reinforcing ISC's vision as a producer of agents of change.
A similar message was delivered by H.E. Riak Lema, President of Yayasan Lelemar-IBTL. He emphasized the strategic role of scholars as disseminators of knowledge and skills to society. "Education is the greatest investment for a nation. We encourage ISC to continue expanding scholarship access for lecturers to enhance national education quality," he stated.
Record Number of Graduates with Balanced Composition
This year marks an outstanding achievement: 822 graduates hail from the Faculty of Health Sciences and 415 graduates from the Faculty of Education. They come from diverse majors such as Economics, Mathematics, and Nursing, with a balanced gender composition. This reflects ISC's commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable educational environment.
The Beginning of a New, Challenging Journey
An ambiance of joy and family cheers colored the entire procession. This graduation is not a finish line, but a gateway to new challenges.
