Mission
The mission of the Institute of Cristal is to:
Provide and share science and technology through the relationship between education and research to prepare and assist the development of human resources which are important and strategic factors in the development of the sustainability of Timor-Leste.
Other specific activities to carry out the learning process, scientific research and community service at the tertiary level in the fields of education and health of sciences, as well as professional training in science and technology based on international standards, to assist trainees in obtaining the quality of qualifications and professions.
Objective
The objective of the study program is to:
- Have an extensive knowledge of Portuguese language and literary theory;
- To Dominate the Portuguese language in terms of spoken and written in the context of academics, work place, and society;
- To produce professional Portuguese teachers who are able to recognize Portuguese language teaching skills (reading, writing, speaking) and the sub-skills of the language like grammar and vocabulary;
- Be able to develop science and technology in terms of developing innovative methods of Portuguese language teaching and learning process;
- Be a good curriculum designer of Portuguese language teaching;
- Providing professional translators and interpreters;
- Be able to produce the module for language teaching and learning process;
- Be able to conduct research in the linguistic area, literature, culture, and education;
- Be able to be a journalist.
