Profile  of the Department of Educational Technology

“The Postgraduate Program at Instituto Superior Cristal was established on April 12, 2019, with two study programs: the Master’s Program in Education Management and the Master’s Program in Educational Technology.

The accreditation of the Postgraduate Program was first conducted on December 26, 2021, with a classification of B accreditation. On April __, 2023, the Postgraduate Program initiated its first accreditation for the Master’s Program in Education Management and the Master’s Program in Educational Technology, both receiving a classification of B accreditation.”

To become a center of excellence in the development, application, and research of innovative and sustainable educational technology to improve the effectiveness of learning at all levels of education.

Mission

  1. Develop innovative educational technologies that enrich learning experiences at all levels of education.
  2. Implement effective educational technology solutions to improve the quality of learning in various educational institutions.
  3. Conduct in-depth research to understand the needs and trends in learning, and produce relevant and sustainable solutions.
  4. Support the training and development of educators in the effective utilization of educational technology.
  5. Collaborate with educational institutions, industry, and government to integrate educational technology into the overall education system.

Objective

  1. Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning by utilizing advanced educational technology.
  2. Increase student engagement and motivation in the learning process through the use of engaging technology solutions.
  3. Expanding access to quality education through online learning platforms and digital education resources.
  4. Facilitate the development of 21st-century skills, such as creativity, critical, and analytical thinking, and collaboration through educational technology.
  5. Become a knowledge and resource center for innovations in education technology, which can influence education policy globally.
