Vision

To be an excellent, independent, and dignified higher institute and to develop professional activities for the prosperity of the people.

Mission

  1. Provide and share science and technology through the relationship between education and research to prepare and assist the development of human resources, which are essential and strategic factors in developing Timor-Leste’s sustainability.
  2. Other specific activities to carry out the learning process, such as scientific research, community service at the tertiary level in education and health sciences, and professional training in science and technology based on international standards, assist trainees in obtaining quality qualifications and professions.

Objective

The Study Program has its teaching learning resources to help the students achieve their objectives through both theoretical and practical knowledge of chemistry to ensure self-confidence and competencies;

  1. Possess in-depth and comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in chemistry.
  2. The personnel must have comprehensive skills in teaching chemistry and be able to perform effectively and responsibly according to the needs of the organization they are working with.
  3. They will use digital skills and analytical tools to support their performance as teachers and chemical scientists.
  4. Produce graduates with the skills to work in a team, discipline, and commitment to share goals and be creative and innovative.
  5. To apply the principles of chemical safety instruments regulated in laboratories and other environments.
  6. To provide the study of matter, analyzing its structure and properties to explain a phenomenon or behavior of interest that is acquired by using a chemical reaction

Goal’s Degree Chemistry are follows:

  1. Produce graduates qualified to teach chemistry subjects at the secondary education level.
  2. Develop students capable of performing and managing essential laboratory work and laboratory management.
  3. Able to identify the method of study based on the subject and students’ character.
  4. Able to find the solution to the education issue based on the research and academic description.
  5. Equip graduates with skills as an academician to develop their careers as professionals and pursue degrees at an advanced level.

Goals Chemistry study program:

  1. Graduates of this program can develop teaching skills and become qualified practitioners in chemistry subjects.
  2. Graduates of the Chemistry department have the necessary skills to advance their studies to a higher level.
  3. To produce a good researcher who can identify issues in the field of chemistry.
  4. To produce a young generation with the competency to respond to public needs in chemistry.
  5. To prepare graduates with the capacity to work in education and clinical laboratories.
  6. To give fundamental concepts and to provide the Chemistry students with modern practical facilities.
  7. The graduates of the Chemistry Study Program can pursue their studies at higher levels.
