Mission

The mission of the Institute of Cristal is to:

Provide and share science and technology through the relationship between education and research to prepare and assist the development of human resources, which are important and strategic factors in the development of Timor-Leste’s sustainability.

Other specific activities to carry out the learning process, scientific research, community service at the tertiary level in the fields of education and health sciences, and professional training in science and technology based on international standards, assist trainees in obtaining the quality of qualifications and professions.

Objective

The objective of the department is:

  1. Educating students to become professional teachers in the field of biology;
  2. Produce Biology teachers who are competent in the field of integrated Biology,
    responsibility, creative, innovative, professional, independent, and committed to human values;
  3. Be Able to dominate the curricular substance in the area of education;
  4. To Produce graduates of Biology Education who are professional, competent spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social;
  5. Produce community service activities that are beneficial for improving community welfare.
