The mission of the Institute of Cristal is to provide and share science and technology through the relationship between education and research. We aim to prepare and assist in the development of human resources, which are important and strategic factors in Timor-Leste’s sustainability.
We engage in specific activities to enhance the learning process, including:
- Scientific research and community service at the tertiary level.
- Professional training in science and technology based on international standards.
- Assisting trainees in obtaining quality qualifications and professions.
Objectives
The objectives of the Department of English Language are to:
- Produce professional English teachers who can acknowledge comprehensive English language teaching skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
- Be effective curriculum designers for English language teaching at both junior and senior high school levels.
- Prepare graduates to work in the tourism sector.
