To enhance cooperation in improving the quality of human resources through education, research, and community service, Sanata Dharma University (USD) has established a collaborative relationship with a university in Dili, Timor Leste, named Instituto Superior Cristal (ISC).
The meeting, held on Monday (08/06) in the Rectorate Meeting Room, was attended by representatives from USD, namely Johanes Eka Priyatma, M.Sc., Ph.D., as the Rector; Rohandi, Ph.D., as the Vice Rector I; and F.X. Ouda Teda Ena, M.Pd., Ed.D., as the Vice Rector IV, as well as representatives from ISC, namely Dr. SebastiĆ£o Pereira, MM, as the Rector; Dr. Agostinho dos Santos Goncalves as the Executive President of Fundacao Cristal; Sucipto as the Head of the Foreign Relations Department; and Antonio Ximenes representing the Cristal Foundation. The rectors of both universities signed the cooperation agreement.
The USD Rector stated that this collaboration could enhance educational efficiency between Indonesia, notably Sanata Dharma University, and Timor Leste, specifically Instituto Superior Cristal. “Through this cooperation, we hope to enhance our enthusiasm to expand the reach of education in this country. Our goal is to provide education without limits,” said the USD Rector.
