Megarezky University (Unimerz) held a visiting lecture at the Instituto Superior Cristal (ISC) Timor Leste with the theme ‘Socio-Cultural & Health Communication Perspectives in Tuberculosis Diseases Control’, on Wednesday (25/10/2023).
This visiting lecture was attended by Bachelor of Nursing and Diploma of Midwifery students from the ISC campus, and the students were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity.
The theme of the visiting lecture is considering that TB cases are a global case whose prevalence is found in both countries, both Indonesia and Timor-Leste, so by raising this theme it is hoped that we can provide education as a preventive measure to ISC students, Timor-Leste.
In his statement, Secretary of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Mega Rezky Makassar; Siti Nurul Haliza, SIKom., M.Sc said that the visiting lecture activity was a form of implementation of the MoU that had been signed by Unimerz and ISC.
“This Visiting Lecture is a form of implementation of the mou with ISC, which was officially signed the day before. “And also as a way to pave the way for the next form of implementation or MoA, such as student exchange between ISC and Unimerz,” he concluded.
